California trip... okay, not really
i was going to post about what me and Sam did in CA, but i don't really remember very well. instead, i will post about all the girls in the store this weekend.
as some of you know, BAAF was this weekend, so there are all these cute otaku girls coming into the store and browsing. since i am a happy man in a happy relationship, i couldn't care less how many cute girls there are in the store because i have the best one waiting at home. but Halifax cares. especially when they're Asian. so Halifax, wherever you are, you missed possibly the best weekend of your life because you were sleeping or something. good job.
peace out, dawg.
(i'm not sure either).

i'm in California. it's boring. i sleep and read a lot. Sam comes today. i assume she'll read and sleep a lot too. i'll be back on Tuesday morning. i will make IKEA furniture. hopefully, i can get ET to help. i will work. i will buy expensive books for class, then i will go to class and pass everything so that i can be done.
i got an A and a B+ on my two summer courses. they were easy, but i'm not complaining.
my brother gave me 'Clerks' and 'Chasing Amy' on DVD. he is a skater. he is dumb.
i have a new watch. it's kinda pretty.
did i mention i was bored?

a card
i have a library card now! woohoo! my first action after getting one was to take out 'The Sting,' 'Arsenic and Old Lace,' and 'Stagecoach' on DVD and placing Jasper Fforde's Lost in a Good Book on hold. these are all movies i have heard are good, but have never seen myself. i know Halifax swears by 'Arsenic.' i saw 'The Sting' and thought it was really good. i like con-artist movies (some pretty good recent examples are 'Confidence' and 'Ocean's Eleven,' although 'Eleven' is more of a heist film, it still has the con-artist traits) and this might be the best i've ever seen.
quick! top five con-man movies!

i hate Joyce, but that's okay; he hates me too.
i can't help but think that before he started writing, Joyce sat in front of a crystal ball or what have you and asked it to show him the writing styles that an Aztec kid born in 1983 would hate.
then he proceeded to write in said styles.
after reading two parts of Dubliners, two parts of Ulysses, and the tiny ass section of Finnegan's Wake that was in my book, i can say without hesitance nor remorse that James Joyce is the worst writer of all time.
except for possibly Henry James, that fool.
